I had a perfect GPA in first year. But then I got into a band and spend weekends partying, so I started skipping all my assignments and figuring out exactly how many 90s I needed to show up for to pass with a high 60s grade.
Because the loans aren't just for the degree, they're for living expenses while you get the degree. I didn't actually have to pay off $30k, I only had to pay off $12k because of bursaries and loan forgiveness.
