It all makes a lot of sense actually. His proficiency in Arabic, his sudden and prolonged absence, and his preference for heroes like Earthshaker and items such as Eul's Scepter.

My peak was higher and a year/6 months before that and it was on the jankiest possible setup
Wi-fi internet that I was stealing from my elderly neighbor (in another building not all that close to mine) by connecting to her router with my laptop and then wiring my laptop with an ethernet cable to my desktop, where I played dota, to share the connection
Just horrific ping/network inconsistency
And I would wake up at like 1am to play from like 3 to 10am
In this time window at my MMR bracket you would match into the current top-level game being played. So you get games with like xcalibur, miracle in them
Pick offlane tide or something, ask nothing of yourself mechanically as your ping sucks (and the other players are probably better), just get what solo farm and levels you can from the lane, stack ancients, win games by understanding map and teamfight presence/threats. I had a very long winstreak like this
Toward the end of that time I matched into one game with KZZ and he gave me a compliment in the chat.
This was the peak of my insanity and i was probably spending hours arguing with broodstar at the same time on nadota
At 10am the losers log on. Nolifers, college dropouts - people who are still desperately hanging on to that last shred of normal life. Full of self-hatred for their failures and looking for a target to take that angst out on. They simply didn't have the mental discipline for Dota. I had no interest in associating with these people. So that meant it was time to log into NADota and find a broodstar post or sign a mafia game. In those days I would typically go about a week at a time without interacting with another person in the real world.
If you want to do anything real you need to do it this way. Everything else is just half-measures.
My MMR peaked in 2016 at 5100 spamming offlane slardar and earthshaker.
He gave us so much. So sad what happened to him
