It could just be the storytelling but the emotions in that moment really made it seem like Lee needed the 1 win. The story's just better with the win, the way it appears in the press and stuff

This part is a spoiler for the movie
AlphaGO is winning (going to win) 5 to 0 against the human, but it loses (throws) one game strangely
It ends up being an emotional high point of the documentary because, despite being a documentary about the success of AI, by that stage we are emotionally rooting for the human
I was saying based on the emotional timbre of that moment, I wonder if the ppl managing AlphaGO intentionally made it misplay that game to prevent the 5-0 sweep
