an example of finding his survivor claim qualitatively scummy would involve thinking that for some reason he'd be more likely to do it as a scum alignment than actual survivor in the first place. i cannot read into yours or his minds to see if/why that would be the case, but if you had such a process, i might have had some sort of intuition whether you fabricated or actually had such a thought process.
