yea if the players are that active and committed i'd rather the game be over in one night instead of sneaking peaks at the game while you're working over the course of a week so you don't fall 1000s of post behind. esp in a vanilla setup that is a lot of reading if the game goes 5+ days

you have to know what people who actually solve the game look for and trick them
alightsoul is probably the most difficult one to play against cause he never outed his reads.
so you just shit on him and hope others dont like him either and dont follow his read and that he gets pissed off and quits playing
I never gave up but the most annoying thing ever was the "lynch alightsoul to verify his reads" phase
I would post my reads day 2 and then town would for some reason lynch me to confirm I was town and only then start following the reads. LOL
With current player base you could probably do this and then just ignore the reads following day, very few people actually go back and read on this website. Maybe because the threads have no pagination here. I feel like it was way more common on NADota to go back and read the thread more than once

On the old site pagination existed and even then ISOing was not really done often because it was hard to ISO, and there was no way to catch a running tally of votes if host didn't update so when you were elft behind you were screwed
If anything players tried harder and now they try less hard here and that's the biggest issue. I agree, more people should go back and ref old posts and it seems like it doesn't happen very often
I actually found in the past several games here that scum were the first to ISO and reread and it was more of a virtue signal than anything
if it wasn’t such a timesink I’d have offered to play
I like that our games have substance but not utterly insane amounts like some I’ve see
also sometimes I just get massive headaches out of nowhere and trying to play mafia with one is borderline unbearable
