For dev work. We don’t want to change core files unless we PR against discourse itself. They update their codebase frequently. We would have problems trying to patch then.
We are trying to put all our custom changes into a plugin(s) that way it is removed from core updates. That way it does not cause us to have to fork away. That way we can still get updates and security fixes.

I have heard a lot of valid points for a graveyard and I am inclined to agree. Do you feel people not in the game should be able to join the graveyard? For instance this game should I allow wintermute to join.

Sometimes there are people that get really excited about spectating a game. Same lines of thinking apply to them as applies to dead players looking to talk about their reads. Best to give it an official space where it can be monitored, contained etc
