Generally time passes very slow for me when I'm attempting to study

I have learned something new about myself

Which is I need pressure to actually learn anywhere near my all other things equal genetic max

If I had had 3 weeks before my first assignment was due, I could have probably learned it all, but if I had had 3 weeks I would have never done it

It could also be because you enjoyed learning that material. Probably a combination of both

Other things I need to do:

Boost my synapses by exercising

Stop eating like asshole which makes me groggy

Layer my learning by doing classwork and reinforcing earlier learning by also doing AoPS

*Read material not yet due a few weeks ahead of time to allow my brain to partition it

They really need to actually teach you how to learn

Our education system has its faults. Especially faulted are the kids of phds who aren’t treated like some sort of scum class

my webcam has a ring light

its black in my room this is sick

Looking good

You can do makeup reviews

They expect high school to do this, but it absolutely does not. The failing is the public education system and its focus on standardized testing

write it in your head

this is kind of what i said secondary school education drills you on problems like you will encounter in the test without properly emphasizing the abstractions. thus explaining why jdance can factor polynomials but not other things

ive been taking this class with a college friend

we both took linear algebra in college but years ago so this has been a really nice refresher.
trying to work on my fundamentals.

also my new obsession is flow fields and how to use them for pathfinding.

i want to try and utalize 3d flow fields shown in papers like this

for pathfinding which seems not really done yet but i think it woudl work. might be too inefficient to realistically run in real time but would be neat.

I’m jealous.

I hate linear algebra. I failed that class twice and I only passed the third time because it got curved up. xD

i like def didn't pay attention to it enough in college and turns out its hyper relevant to my work so now im retaking it lmao.
