X and Y will be your friend for a long time. Get used to it.

I just don't understand the random pre algebra chapter

You will understand later.

I'm not saying I don't understand it. I'm saying I don't understand why it's teaching me something I learned in 6th grade at the end of a math course for no reason

how does the 3/4 simplify to 3

@iaafr @krazykat

Rearrange the equation to (3/4) / (1/4) x ( the other stuff)

(3/4) / (1/4) = 3/1 = 3

a/b all over 1/c is the same as a*c/b

that is to say, dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal (so dividing by 1/4 on the right side denominator is the same as multiplying the whole thing by 4, which cancels with the 4 on the left side denominator)

another way to think of it is you can just multiply the two denominators directly between two multiplied fractions. (a/b) * (c/d) = (a*c)/(b*d)

so multiplying the two denominators there, 4 * 1/4 = 1, which just disappears

i'd just cross out the 4 on the left side and the 1/4 on the right side to show that particular simplification if i were doing this by hand

Fudge the numbers so it's worth $0.04 per viewer

250,000 x 0.04 = 10,000

How many clear sponsor can one put on the banner? 3

10,000x3=30,000

DPC = 4 months. 30,000/4= 7500 total a month.

Top na say they are worth 5-7k per player.

ez. um maybe not.

  1. I solved it 2 ways.

Each vertex has 6 interior diagonals. 6 x 12 = 72. But that would count each one twice. So 72/2 = 36.

You can also do this using factorials. You fix a top left vertex, then you have a number of lengths and widths. Proceed to iterate horizontally then vertically, like a nested for loop

I have 160 posts to catch up on and I'm worried about how much of it will be drivel

Is this a good response to a technical writing question?

@KrazyKat help im new to latex and explaining answers

yeah but note that you divided both sides by 2x+1, which also explains why x cant = 2.
