It can be measured in the sense that videogames are usually recreational/art in the same way books are (not saying they’re very good art though) - it’s clearly much different than consuming political media for entertainment.
More of the tired and trite same. “Lol”, “Didn’t read”, “You have issues”, “Get help” (the last one is the funniest as the people who say it are “getting help” themselves).
Narcissism and general Dimness (lack of reading comprehension) are the usual symptoms of people who say things like this.
It’s not a way to win an argument, or avoid one - you’re only making a joke out of yourself. It is literally only making yourself look worse and your points (if you even made any) weaker.
If you don’t want to argue like an adult then don’t reply or preferably don’t start posting in the thread at all if you really have nothing to say.
You’re one to talk, dude. You have a lot to work on when it comes to self-image.
In mafia we usually call this an “OMGUS” (Oh my god you suck) - When a player gets called out for being mafia then immediately responds by calling out his accuser as mafia. I call you out for your Glaring uncontrollable personality flaws and then you try to turn it on me.
First off, you clearly showed to everyone in the thread how even if you “agree” with someone you turn into a Gremlin once you’re (indirectly and unintentionally) called out and immediately change your mind and start calling them deluded. Simply a liar and a fake person.
Second, you are still dodging every argument and only resorting to failed passive aggressiveness - it’s almost like you actually have nothing to say and are only posting to feed your narcissism.
When you come into the thread to post “twitch is media” and expect to not be called out on it - you are a narcissist in a very deep hole.
Why can’t you contort something that was said into a coherent argument? You say something wrong, and then say some sort of metaphor about me being a narcissist or a sheep or in a very deep hole (?). You’ve got me. I’m dumbfounded
I did. What have I said isn't a coherent argument? In reality you're the one who hasn't posting any coherent arguments at all.
Nothing I said was wrong.
- It is True that you said you agreed with me then called me deluded on the same topic right after - 100% evidence of lying and being a Fake person.
- You are dodging my arguments, and still are.
- You went into the thread, posted "twitch is media" and seriously thought that was fine. Simply posting for attention - narcissism.
- You are trying to reduce the value of my argument by strawmanning my usage of "in a very deep hole" to mean that you are Very narcissistic, adding in "sheep" (common meme word used by the internet politically obsessed - you couldn't even think of a better metaphor) and "some sort of metaphor" for failed comedic effect and attempt to ridicule.
Your usage of language is so transparent and stereotypical that every word you use can be used against you.
ive not read the thread but i think its this simple: amazon owns twitch and wapo
lm fao
Yep - as I said it’s all just Corporate garbage.
That is not a measurement. Saying they are different does not measure how much of a waste of time they are.
You don’t have to quantify something to say that it’s worse than another. I never said that it was a “bigger” waste of time, just a Worse one.
I didnt ask you to measure quantity. You said you can measure the quality.
You said “how much” of a waste of time.
nevermind yeah I did. I meant to stay in your terms. You cant measure how bad or good it is
I can; Gaming is recreational, (usually) artistic, controlled, etc etc -
On the other hand, as I said before - someone who spends time reading/watching political content online does not even realize that it’s a waste of time (while someone who’s playing games knows that they’re only doing it for fun/escapism while there’s more to like than that).
It’s just common sense really, it’s better to spend your time playing Dota than it is watching wapo and debating politics online. It’s healthier and honestly just makes the world better.
Obviously there are exceptions to both things - it’s obviously not good if someone is Addicted to a game, and it’s of course fine if someone is just slightly keeping up with political news - but if you have some time of the day where you have to do one or the other, one is objectively better.
It does not require measurement as I said above.
I hope I came off as intended, I just mean that for example, getting into world of warcraft guilds is healthier than getting into whatever political groups are out there.
So this is your argument for why Wapo shouldnt be on twitch? LOL
What is a wapo
Cool strawman (and added “LOL” response). You haven’t even read my posts about that topic (you admitted it) so please don’t post until you do.
