Kyle said he didn’t know who I was, and therefore he killed me when I came near his chests, I don’t really blame him. He gave me my stuff back anyway. I’m trying to push the angle that Kyle is deliberately an ass to people with little to no justification and I think your interaction with him was supportive of that angle

I’m not saying asoul is bad for the site or the server, I’m just saying I don’t think he’s telling a fully accurate truth in this thread.
and I’m not saying your recollection of events is flawed but dotakyle has had an issue with a different player pretty much every single day since the start of the minecraft server
the reason I’m the one speaking up now is I’m the one being targeted
and it’s quite funny there are people in this thread using it as an excuse to attack me as if they were on the server or looking over my shoulder at the moment these things happened there would not even be a question in their minds that dotakyle was an issue
I don’t know who Kyle has beefed w/ other than benny and now you so maybe I’m not fully up to speed on the situation either. I don’t think Kyle is necessarily a victim in all of this, but he’s not exactly a perpetrator either. To me the server seemed to be a very intricate balancing act between having fun and fucking with people a little bit, and full on griefing. People draw that line in different places and therefore feelings got hurt, and then people decided to retaliate and fall back on the argument “he did it first.” In my opinion it’s kinda silly, and we should just move on. Benny made me walk like a shitton of blocks to a random location to find his base just to learn that wasn’t where his base was, I just chuckled and said wp. Also the people that are commenting who didn’t play on the server should probably stop, although I understand that asoul’s behavior in the past may influence you to believe that he did bad stuff on the server too, if you didn’t play and understand the “server culture” I think it’s hard for you to accurately gauge who is right and wrong in this situation.

we started a new server with a whitelist and firm no-griefing rules
kyle has been picking fights and trying to push my buttons every time i log in and then comes to this thread to argue about it to try and make it seem like there are two sides here
I have so far done nothing even remotely close to griefing and have even gone out of my way to be friendly and inclusive with him several times in hopes he will stop
but it’s like a switch is flicked with his personality every day or every couple days and he just needs to come to my base and do shit like shoot fire arrows at my wooden structures and make me scramble to put out the fires
i’m tired of him and i want people to stop enabling him so that i can play in peace
