It’s just a wonderful part of *Chan culture that they involve themselves in. But yes it was pretty malicious of me, I always looked at them as just le epic trolles who just went on here to troll people and no intention of doing anything else and this was the same time they trolled that one dude who was having a mental breakdown so I just went full Internet troll mode on jones in some sort of weird like vigilante way

Hype there was this guy on the website a couple years back, he was still playing dota and kept insisting valve had hired psychologists to ruin his game or something
The people on this forum were telling him that didn't sound like a real thing and he started accusing people here of being valve employees planted to gaslight him
Nmagane (goy club instigator) went ahead and kept pushing this guy's buttons, went to his stream, was like in a call with him and stuff. Dude had a full psychotic breakdown, the police were called, mental health hold and all that
A lot of people on this site were really upset when that happened

In general I think the same way people currently on this website fell for the whole "i'm a crazed lunatic" act with Jones, I think you fell for it back in the day and it made this guy an appropriate target in your mind for your inappropriate behavior/vices
Really this whole thing is an act by incel virgins who spend all day in their basement to pretend they have some power in the world. "I'm not a loser - I'm actually a very dangerous person!"
It's all an act to maintain some fiction of control. People fall for it and are like wow, somebody needs to do something about this guy, he's out of control! And really it just feeds the fantasy

Well I never bought, and still don’t, his claim to complete innocence in the situation, I was wrong in just simply lumping together nmagane and his actions into basically one person but they are pretty intertwined when they troll people on the forums and have been for years. I definitely overreacted over it back then but I still think he was egging the guy on just not as severely as nmagane was
I think it was when they like recorded the dude having a mental break in their teamspeak and then posted it here like it was funny or something that really kind of got me going
I actually dont think Jones had anything to do with the egging
They definitely laugh at people on the forum together and maybe that can be encouraging/feeding nmagane's actions but I also know Jones removes himself from a lot of that stuff, seems like people in the teamspeak even were telling NMA to stop at at the time
Even NMA was trying to get it under control at a certain point but the guy just can't stop himself from pushing people's buttons
Yea i dipped on last site before jones stuff took off, and barely know nma but they know me i guess.
Don't really have an opinion but we probably wouldn't mesh well.
I was told they ruined /vg/ inhouses years and years ago, ran into them while investigating the claim.
