That’s what I mean the idea that these businesses are not profitable is just crazy, they are highly profitable and make tons of money, I mean every order DoorDash probably makes $4 or $5
My roommate got like a 200k investment from a VC with the most ridiculous shit ever
Go on
Old roommate
I don’t want to go into too much detail online however anyone with a brain or any business sense could tell the business model he had was not very thought out and would have a lot of issues even generating revenue
Scrutinizinf that stuff is fun
If you told him that and he went forward with it that's on him, did he tho
Wish I knew how to bullshit for that stuff. I got no clue. Thus sell stickered where hobos beg
For what you do you'd want a angel investor and at that point it's not nearly like what his friend was doing probably. That stuffs a lot more casual, you build a bond with them or network and work on a pitch that appeals to whoevers Infront of you at the time
Also because you'd probably be going for like a 1/5th of that tops maybe
Why would I undermine my roommate and tell an investor not to give him money lol
I don’t even know how he did it exactly it was a whole lot of pitching, getting involved in like those tech business grooming groups or whatever they’re called
Took probably a year or so
No you tell your roommate to get a better rev/biz model unless it's truly fucked lol
Incubators
It's good for guys like him who might have a decent idea that needs some business minded refinement
I raised some concerns however he was going all in working on it during the day and Uber driving at night so I’m not going to shit on him
Maybe it could work idk
based take from my man yns
can you explain why I’m creepy? you literally replied to one of my posts and I replied back to you the first time you said it
is replying to posts that put forth a controversial opinion (and basically invite replies by default) creepy? like lmao
