They don’t have enough life experience yet to know how to min max their character, it’s like when you create your first character on an rpg game and you don’t have any guides to tell you what to build, if the game doesn’t have a respec option your best bet is to just start over most of the time
Plus how would you make decisions in the aforementioned character select screen if you don't already have a character outside of the game? It's a free will paradox
The character create screen is all there is, you are there in spirit form consciously choosing whether you remember or not

Seriously though - this whole discussion on the morality of abortion just boils down to free will and theology. It's not something that can be decided by states or governments - the government isn't going to force people to be christian.
If you want Abortion to stop, raise children that raise children that raise children that are against abortion. In a few hundred years; maybe there will be no more abortion doctors.
