I don't think referring to the commandments is a good argument against these actions. Such ancient morals and ethics were just crowd control for society back in the day, a way of keeping people docile and enforcing low testosterone ideology. It's the modern day equivalent to google talking about what you can do to help prevent climate change.
If you're not willing to take drastic measures to survive in what's from all accounts an apocalyptic wasteland of a country, then your bloodline will probably forever be enslaved under adapting docile and dead tenants from gone societies.

What I said does not borrow from the atheist mindset. Any argument against religion is not the same as r/atheism.
I believe religion is deeply important for instilling spirit into communities. Commandments however, if the commandments were given from god today, you would be posting them with images of the wojak npc.

It's not drivel and it's not something I even care about: I think serving an ideological master is fine and most even do it under capitalism now. I just think it's hypocritical because you're always talking about being made to eat the bugs and wear the mask.
I do not associate the commandments with morals, I associate them with commands. Hence the name. The most noble of ideas always falls victim to power and games.
