this songs perfect

after listening to a bunch of 2010s vs early 2000s psytrance ive concluded that psychedelic drugs being easier to obtain ruined psytrance somehow because everything from the last 10 years (period that lsd and research chems got easier to obtain) sucks compared with the shit before it

i used to really like infected mushroom when i was a kid

ye theyre dece but 1200 micā€™s debut was always my gold standard

this raja ram thing is pretty good tho

LMAO psytrance ru into space tribe and juno reactor breh?

dunno either of them

r they good

tbh i keep trying to find good psytrance stuff and most of its really boring and bad

I donā€™t know what you would consider good psytrance to me itā€™s more funny and dated than anything, but I used to cane things like that when I was a wee lad and trying to listen to every single sub genre of electric music lol

The other guy I remember was X-Dream and then there was also this Paul Oakenfold ā€œVoyage Into Tranceā€ mix that came with a DVD of psychedelic effects made on some kind of old analog equipment with all these kaleidoscopic and fractal animations.

Drugs have certainly had a big factor, but the other thing that has a big factor in how electronic music changes is the kind of equipment used and how that changes over time. For instance the reason I like 2nd wave Detroit recordings has a huge amount to do with the kinds of early digital synthesizers with unique architectures they were using in place of the big old subtractive analog things.

Like Kurzweil (as in Ray Kurzweil lel) K2000, Korg Wavestation, Waldorf Wave & Q, Roland D-50, Access Virus, Yamaha DX100.

You can do pretty much whatever you want on a computer and use modular synth programming environment things these days, but I donā€™t know thereā€™s something unique about the tools from that era that informed the sound a lot and forced people to work in a different way. Same can be said for the sequencers.

You need someone you can believe in
This I do declare
Trust me Iā€™ll be there
The road that leads to heaven can be so steep
I will help you climb
Change your state of mind

big one, nice spacey pads

reminds me of this one - almost forget about these 2 little EPs from highschool (though they were on modern love)

The latest 21 pilots album is really good

When Ye first came out i loved it but now its kinda meh. Hope yhandi(or whatever it is gonna be called lol) will be good and long

I deleted about 6-7 songs from scorpion and since then its been a really cool album. I also split it into A and B side.

Fav songs: Elevate, cant take a joke, jaded, thats how you feel

Can someone recommend me some good heavy metal? I enjoyed the spotify radio but id like to know the good stuff if someone is into that :)
