cloud nothings and merchant ships are not heavy metal, but have hardcore roots and i’ve been listening to them a lot lately as well. i couldn’t recommend the first band enough i’ve seen them 4 times already

I like metal for studying. Its nice but exciting background noise. The mixing doesnt really focus on the vocals and bass as much as rap.

That matters a lot sometimes when things get remastered the engineers fuck it up real bad or sometimes the original master is really bad.
