They will just give the US a little of what it wants and continue the malpractice. The tariffs are just a really dumb idea. Not going to reign in China this way.
China’s trade malpractice is just a convenient scapegoat for powerful Americans. Tariff war with China will bring maybe a couple minute good results for America, but they will largely be unnoticable while we are drenched in the bullshit that the powerful keep in place.
The tariff shit is electoral bullshit. Voters will still be gettimg their ass kicked but think “b b b but he tariffed China so at least he tried Ill vote for him” meanwhile they have zero idea how trade defecits work. China is not America’s problem. America is America’s problrm.
