We made a league that can last months - maybe there is also an official feature coming
Ours is just a multi-stage swiss tournament where you’re assigned an opponent and you can pick a time that works for both of you to play over the course of like a week

Yeah valve said they wanted to make a league system to just be in the game for tournaments that lasts months or just shit like ixdl. Hopefully it comes out soon, and something like you just q vs other people online currently
hopefully they make it so people can have caster slots and drop in and out spectate
also still wanna know if anyones ever interested in casting – not a fixed thing or anything, you can just give it a shot next time the tournament gets streamed, i just think anyones better than me cuz of my limited game knowledge and annoying personality. i got the rig to stream but would like some help in that dept

Maybe the prize pool 20 dollars posters should be redirected to the gift me artifact posters so we can have a larger league
When you return to the states you can pay it back by putting 20 into the Season 7 prize pool
im sure its just like old steam gifting culture where theres a number of people who generally could use the gift from lack of age/funds+strong interest in the game/ but the majority is beggars who want to acquire the game to try it out because it looks like the next cardnite or atleast fun regular game but dont feel like their interest is enough to warrant opening their own wallets
also i cant tell if youre memeing but for this reason its a trash idea to take money out of the prize pool and buy these windowshoppers a key. See @anon31000304 handing out keys to people who say they are interested in playing Reflex arena but then the result is that there are no new regular players (and shame on @LuckyArtist for wasting a key when he couldve watched a couple vids on youtube and quickly realized he was not worthy of it)
Better idea – just litter shitposts all over the forum on how you like watching or playing {genre} games and bait people into responding earnestly, lead this to into a strong discussion and then pm people who pop in to say they havent played the new fotm but Totally Would, if no one takes the bait just give it to a friend who’d take to the game and has a personality that this sites users want to see more of (druggie, negative, racist, etc)
