i think i got where you were coming from in the first place, and i didn't take it as "durr sports is bad"

there's just something about this whole line of thought that still somehow comes off as ego-driven and unproductive anyhow

i don't mean to discount your sentiments as faked or involving ulterior motives, but just ultimately reflecting unnecessary egotism stemming from general alienation in the first place? still struggling to articulate it perfectly. it strikes a chord because my mind is sometimes in similar places but i don't actually respect that part of my own mind and actively seek to avoid encountering stuff that brings out that part of me.

but maybe my reaction isn't productive either; this is the last i'll talk about it. i do perceive your sentiments as good faith and hope the best for you regardless.
