if they started calling travelling again you would need an actual team but the nba wants 150 points scored per game so it's not gonna happen

Athleticism teams almost never win anything

obviously you still need a foundation but the trend in almost every sport has been to venerate individual flagship players. basketball is just the most egregious

maybe soccer but i dont watch football

Soccer nba mlb all do it

the angels have 2 hall of fame players. best players in their position. ohtani is literally irreplaceable, but they suck because their team has no cohesion

Football it’s mostly qbs

yea one guy can carry pretty hard in football and basketball. but even if you're aaron judge and hit 50 home runs you can't always carry your team in baseball. and in hockey the other team can just beat the shit out of you lol

i mean there's always the argument of how much is he carrying compared to how much is his team feeding him but that requires a dynamic. maybe im out of depth for basketball but there's almost no attention payed to the bench

i literally almost cried when that went in. we were so good that year too :/

he fucking sonned us man

watching kahwi make "the shot" against the 76ers and seeing joel embiid leave the floor in tears more than made up for it

that version of the 76ers was the best one they ever had btw at least in this era

oh boo hoo GSW didn't have their 3rd superstar the guy that they went 73 wins without give me a fucking break

we beat the bucks - who went on the become future champs

the jimmy buckets 76ers - he went on to play in the finals (and maybe win it this year)

and the fucking warriors who went on to win another rin WITHOUT KD
