Experience doesn't matter. You need the physical stamina to go for a long series. Same reason I don't see Lakers winning, they don't have the depth and LeBron is getting gassed at the end of every game and stops playing defense.
With that said, I think sports are rigged to promote whatever narrative will sell the most tickets and raise the popularity of the sport if the match ups are close.
