Never played d3
First few seasons of RoS were some of my favorite gaming times, before they cranked up the modifiers by a million percent
D3 actually got decent after a few years, the launch was just atrocious. D4's aesthetic and art style is much better but I don't think I'll be spending $70 for it
D4 is a dumbass live service game so maybe theyll actually add an end game at some point i guess. The mmo elements that game has are dogwater though
I understand the streamlined elements they introduced in d3/d4 with potion drops and essence building but there's just something missing for me. Maybe it's not missing anything and I've just moved on from arpg besides a diablo 2 run once a year for nostalgia
Grim dawn was fun. I played poe once back when it was only 5 acts and it was pretty fun but the game is actually impossible to get into now with the feature bloat

the narrator obviously stopped playing before RoS because he gets a lot of expansion details wrong but otherwise a sick vid that showcases just how horrible of an experience the devs had at making the original d3

I bought it on sale a couple years ago just to see what it was like. Bruh the ranged ai running all the way down hallways from you as a warrior. They also wouldn't stand in aoe spells it was maddening coming from an entitled modern gamer
i was very much 7 years old when i played it. i think i barely killed that butcher first boss and probably just kept making new characters because i was afraid to keep descending

What should I play when I replay this year with my bud? I've done trap assassin, poison creeper druid, smite paladin, and bowazon so far from memory
i was also a preteen when i played that game. i killed ubers but had no idea what my shit did i just followed guides
oh yea frozen orb sorceress too but that shit was too easy hardly felt like a game
gunna have to ask yns about that one
we don't even play to nightmare or hell lol so 'builds' aren't really a thing for us either
wow was the first game i played where i actually eventually understood what i was doing and the interactions between stats and skills etc
