Mr burns is funnier because it's not "le epic post ironic deep fried meme".
If the Mr burns x homer comic was meant to be funny in the first place, it's clear a ton of effort went into the joke and that makes it funnier, if not then the concept it even exists is also hilarious.
This is just another "It's funny because it's so bad haha.". It's like Skibidi toilet.
I'm sure you'll get it when you're older. Epic ironic humor gets cringe pretty fast as you grow up, I think I would've found these pictures funny maybe 10 years ago or so.

I hope you succeed in your project to "get your life back", your way of doing it certainly seems unconventional.
This game looks like a promising bullet-hell.
He will need to succeed on his own terms. I've found that convincing someone of something they don't already know is largely a sisyphean endeavor.

Convincing people to quit drugs is certainly impossible. It's not my first time dealing with someone like that and I've never succeeded.
I just keep trying though, because of my unshakable faith in the human spirit.
