OK here are my suggestions for some good roles for town to pick:
Most investigative roles are good. They all get info unless mafia messes with them.
Tallier (Checks the amount of Mafia-aligned players on the last lynch) could get us good info.
Tracker (Checks who the target targeted) sounds good in several ways, to get a scum or confirm a town.
Watcher (Checks who targeted the target) is best used on someone you think mafia might target.
Cop (Checks whether the target is Mafia or not Mafia) is good but mafia could cause a false positive or a false negative.
Roleblocker (Prevents the target from using an action) is a good action against someone you suspect.
Parrot (The user uses the same action on the target as the target used) might be interesting if you target someone with an ivestigative action. You would investigate them, and probably learn the action they took.

I’ve decided that I’m going to generate a random number between 0 and 56 inclusive and just do the role/action to the best of my ability corresponding with that index in the list.
but what if the mafia use the same random number generator to block you?? 
That’s pretty dumb but I guess it’s better than nothing.
That would be too predictable. Scum would be able to predict my action based on my Jungian Archetype.
