No Setup Mafia #1

Likewise (vice-versa) with you. Here’s to another crab in the bucket >:):vb-eyes:

So given that I have no clue what the roles do, can you guys help me formulate a plan for what role combinations will be good to pick?

I am working in that right now.

edit: *on that

who is matticus

matty.

I don’t remember what matty played like. is he good?

also I presume our good egyptian friend is gonna gladiator someone day 2

He was a noob friend of nyte, but he was pretty good for a new player.

He’s just some friend of nyte… :/

How do you receive fruit?

my thoughts for potential ways of breaking the game:

everyone becomes a “hider” and targets the person below them on the list (the bottom most targeting the top most. whoever dies we know that the person they targeted (below them) is anti-town and thus they die (get lynched). At most, three towns will die from this method. Possibly less.

all become cop?

or i’m sure there are some tallier shenanigans

also i’m confused. Couldn’t scum just pick kingmaker every day and win?

and also the fact that scum could just pick “switch” to fuck up any plans discussed in the thread kinda puts a wrench in everything

No

Upon further review, I have not found a way to break this game.

The manipulative actions make any fixed plan hard to work if scum choose the best night actions.

If everyone agrees to be cop, then scum can use Lawyer on each other to get a town result.

Parrot might work. If scum kill someone, then the parrot would kill the killer.

Tallier (Checks the amount of Mafia-aligned players on the last lynch) is a good role for one person, but if he says he will do it in chat, he could get role-blocked. Unless someone else uses unblocker, but then the unblocker could be redirected by scum. . .

benny’s play is frustrating but really effective

Frustrating how?

idk man I just like things calm. cant argue with results tho

this shit has to be breakable but I aint the guy to do it

Why break it?

It’s computationally impossible to solve this game.
