If you're not routing your direct deposit into an exchange what do you honestly expect to accomplish in life
They're granting bank charters to these crypto companies in Wyoming now. This technology is not going away; it will exist in some form or another as it can't be controlled, and it's very attractive for people in corrupt developing countries rife with hyperinflation that can't get their hands on U.S. Dollars.
U.S. regulators are finally addressing this space after studying it for years. I think what lit a fire under their ass was the Chinese going whole airhog on developing a digital renminbi with the intent of eventually usurping USD reserve currency status. That and the potential for money laundering / tax evasion.
The thought of regular people undertaking the responsibility of serving as their own bank in a ecosystem filled with ponzi schemes is pretty terrifying tbh.
Also DO NOT DO THIS, please still make regular contributions to your 401k and don't gamble with it lol
