Look at NmaGane’s life

Is that the life you want to make a defense of when you say things like ā€œurghh dont post abut tacosā€

Life can be good if you just hold yourself accountable and stop being a self-hating windbag using the internet as a cathartic outlet for exclusively negativity

I’ll write a reply for this thread soon.

Don’t bother. We already know your miserable thoughts about life.

I am far more interesting than you alightsoul

Bought a frozen pizza. Stellar advertising gents

I am not flaming those that post about ā€œcookingā€; I take issue with the sect that post their purchases as something that should be noteworthy/worthy of sharing.

Large posts are dedicated to either:

  1. What they should SPEND their money on, not the process of cooking, etc.
    or
  2. The end result of them purchasing pre-built foodstuffs.

That is not something to share or to reward with positive feedback in the namafia family; building systems as such glorifies ephemeral, fleeting thrills and class-ism. I will never make fun of someone for their possessions, only their looks, intelligence, and how they present themselves.

Notice that when I posted about pizza, the foci was the process, not the food itself.
… Should I tip on carry out at 3AM? Is it a moral impasse to not tip?

Only then did I post a picture of MYSELF with the food, not the food alone.

Such should be a template for occasional posting of purchases.

I enjoy posts that offer me new ideas and viewpoints; that’s what I gauge the quality of my life on, how many times a day I can think about the mechanization of a process, the intricacies of systems, whatever.

pictures of chips and queso don’t offer that, discussions about you going to the pho place last week, or just a picture of some shoes you bought at the Ross don’t do anything for me at all.

I would prefer:

  1. new and interesting things.
  2. meta-discussion
  3. queso chip posting.

I don’t eat frozen pizzas much by the way, my mother makes me hearty dinners.

I am not convinced it is so bad that people should stop posting about food they bought.

Jones would you prefer I post about the shit I read that nobody cares about like phonology. I want a happy Jones.

fuck this gay kid jones post about whatever u want u kids are weirdos caring about what ewiz and Jones thinks about ur posts

I care about Jones. Dont fault me for that.

In fact you should go eat something and tell us all about it

I won’t care at all but you should do it anyways

I am about to go buy some Japanese cold medicine.

How do I make lean guys

Just had a bear attack dream

Then we agree but my point stands:

You accused me of being a violator of these arbitrary guidelines earlier in the thread. Find one instance in which I do. There are none.

Additionally, I’d posit that posting some cool food you bought (consumed, not made) can be self-improvement as long as it’s not disgustingly boastful (see: every ewiz post) and is focused on the act of going out and finding cool things.

Food can be exploratory. I think for most people this has never been about spending money.

I see it very dangerous to deem consumerism as socially acceptable in contribution when faceberg and goggle have effectively commoditized human communication.
