Now, with this new website, we’ve had a like feature implemented. This interferes with the unironic quotevote, which is an issue that I believe we must overcome. We cannot let our forum culture of quotevoting die out just because it has been rendered anachronistic. Long live the quotevote!

to fully quote someone (nested and all), press the reply button on their post and the quote icon in the top left of the editor.
otherwise u can selectively quote by selecting some of their text and pressing the "quote" action that appears there when you do that
