Yeah dude, I'm sure you totally don't see a problem with homophobia, and I'm sure you're not just putting on the edgy wasted life loser act like you do everywhere. Homophobia as an ideology has killed murdered and butchered gay people for thousands of years. I'd advise you to shut your mouth and know when to stop.

But that's just it. That's how it naturally works. People have had non hetero preferences since the dawn of time. The most natural part of what you're describing is tribalism but that's something I personally refuse to see as acceptable for several reasons so that's probably the disconnect here
Back in the day when we had Real tribes the goal was to secure resources and a future. We were forced to pick one out and look for and reject these minor differences because we're also monkeys obsessed with primal hierarchies and wanted to selfishly preserve or raise ourselves on these scales. We can be better now. And if God exists, I'm sure he'd espouse that belief over "love your fellow man unless he loves men"
That's kind of silly to imply time impacts God's intent.

It's inherently impossible to not take it to extremes as it's inherently impossible to not escalate white nationalism and racist beliefs to the extreme. Because they are already extreme, it's supporting a belief that oppresses and kills hundreds of thousand of people.
You don't support hate, but you support ideas that support hate. That is supporting hate through proxy, re-evaluate your morals.

I don't treat people any differently that I encounter in my life that are gay or straight. I treat them the same.

Yeah, I'm saying that the bible is almost certainly manmade and that the words are not truly timeless as a result. It's besides the point as I could argue that the Bible itself suggests rejection of tribalism in the first place. Jesus washed the feet of the poor and I don't think there was a line behind him
