I'm not at all flaming you here btw, there is no hurt feelings or anything, just saying in a game about Townreading I think we (as a community) sucked because we have weak townreading skills and I think if you reread the day knowing who was town and scum it might help in the future (being able to read what I wrote and know it was just straight unfiltered town thoughts)

In the cases of like magic and Jcrispy I also couldn't townread them and consider that their fault due to their basically afking and then showing up to vote wrong and say things that made no sense strategy

But in my case if I play a fairly high-activity day in which I call out and push an actual scum, don't get up to any of my usual shenanigans just play it by-the-book, it should be townreadable. And it was (evidence: bazinga :bazinga: ) we just aren't a site that plays a lot of townread-focused games so we don't have those skills

Agreed.
But I also think that becoming a better player means convincing town that you are town.

Yes it's a work in progress for all of us

I admit that I appear scummy way too much myself.

Yeah I was thinking we could so easily have this opposite conversation with you being mad at me for not TRing you if only the roles were switched, I couldn't really TR you this game either so I'd probably be in neighbor chat typing "wow krazy looks pretty scum guys"

Like I said work in progress. It's definitely fun & good practice tho to play games on this forum that make us actually do the townreading part of mafia

Agreed.

You hosted a game once with a player who handed out guns and one who handed out armor.
It was a good game for the reasons you explained.
