I was on the same section of the beach and overheard civilian tell life guards that people need help and they got to go in the water now

Been searching for 2 hours now

It was a mother and 15 year old boy.

My 10 yo while trying to go back closer to where lifeguards we searching on my question of "where you going?", replied "i want to get close to the action". Pretty loud that anyone in a 30ft radius could here hear, which included about 20-30 people.
