I don't think there's real drama. Thought it was a again game.
I do think that profiles should be public to allow isoing. I'm okay with removing the who's online thing if that's the reason. No one besides the bot has API access.
If I have freetime at work I can finsh the plug-in that stops private messages from updating posts.

The private message thing does need to be fixed because people who are inclined to cheat can do so (have already done so) without api access
It's public on people's profiles and we've had people accidentally discover it manually etc
