My recollection was USA Today putting out an opinion piece that just listed things the author thought were false, and then pretty much every outlet ran with the narrative of that article without taking any of the other findings seriously, let alone scrutinizing that opinion piece itself.

I dont disagree this is and was a miscarriage of justice and its a shame they didnt get a spotlight sooner but the fact of the matter is Joe Biden is a serial "makes people uncomfortable/does inappropriate touchy things" and has readily admitted to it; I understand power and election cycles and how stories like this surface and resurface I just didnt think it really had teeth compared to what could have been reported on

there were multiple sound policy reasons for promoting Bernie and attacking his candidates and they could have saved sexual records for the general election
instead of that happening it was a lot of sit on hands academic bullshit and a ton of very easily defusable claims that bernie "slips among Black and Latino voters" or "has rude (!) campaign staff"
considering trump was elected with multiple verifiable claims of sexual misconduct and violence it seemed farcical that anyone or anything would suddenly treat anyone else the same way. These women deserve justice but in terms of politicking there seems to be more grief and trauma bringing the victims in front of congress to testify and making them a public spectacle
