So far I am still the champion because nobody has showed up
mike and ritsu have been spamming chess matches and I wanna start playing with them, how do i get decent at chess? is there a good starting point to research like openings or strategy or should I just spam matches?
Same answer as anytime someone asks the question “how do i get good at dota”
Just start playing and reading things, watch some videos of good players explaining their reasoning, try to learn and understand theory (if you are a boring person), look at puzzles and stuff but mostly just play the game and have fun

Just watch some good old tides of time stream. He’s pretty informative and he’d prob answer any question you have
you just play online, like a lot, it’s like dota. The more you play the better you get at the beginning and once you understand the basics (like how to actually play, not just how pieces move) you can watch streamers and videos to get a better understanding.
