It's not a huge gap of logic here. If your population has the same demographics of the United States, and everyone is so racist that they won't convict for their own race/will convict others, then you'd have to randomly sample a jury that is all uniform to get a conviction. And the chance of doing that is again .6^12 for an all honky jury.

Yes! It’s still a modicum of the grander issue! The whole thing is compositional or additive than the individually perceivable flaws! It is why no one does anything! There is much to be done in many ways for many people! It’s easier to read a study and say “hm. Yes. White People Rock.” It’s harder to ask a version of why that is that doesn’t automatically fellate yourself apparently
