Well I'm genuinely sorry to hear that first portion and perhaps I project too much of my own response to hatred in that I find it an effective and endless motivator for my own self-development. I personally thrive on hatred, especially when unjust, and while I find it difficult to process emotions like that in a digital environment, I can still relate to how that must make you feel.
I respect that you view this forum as a snake-pit and still had the confidence to bear your heart, however I find the last part of your post, referring to the motivation to grow the forum as just looking for more people to terrorize to be ridiculously unfair and against everything I've been talking about.
I can't comment on the @big_ass scandal, I believe it was due to him misusing administrative privileges to spy on his ex-girlfriend and there's also something about him blackmailing the main administrator which 1) I don't know all the details and 2) isn't meant to be talked about here. But I agree, he was a great addition to the site and I'm sad that he's gone.

Yeah @ironstove that's an insanely bad reaction to what I said and you're projecting your own emotions onto what I'm saying. People leave the site because they grow up. Most communities counteract this brain-drain by bringing in new people. The site, in the last decade, has never once dished out any money on marketing or even just general strategy to herd in some new members, that's why.
If this site had the exact same members after ten years then it would actually be a bad thing as it would implicate a terrible socioeconomic make-up for the posters here.
Can you imagine being a Palestinian prisoner and while stuck in an Israeli jail you have access to top-of-the-line health and dental care, high quality food, and online educational offerings from Israeli universities and you've got to go back to bombed out Gaza lmfao
