His whole argument is that interest should be done away with as a concept because "eventually people become greedy and the interest becomes too massive and needs to be unwound"
which is a true statement if history is any indication, but his argument does not account for the 300 years before that happens where loans (with interest) massively and undeniably increase quality of life for the average citizen. if interest didn't exist, we wouldn't live in the modern world. we wouldn't have most of the things that make our lives easier.
