theyre basically like ways to “react” to a post like the heart but with some other stuff. you can see it as the clickable smilie near the bottom every post. you can group vote on ideas and stuff easily by leaving :+1: and :-1: retorts. ill add more stuff later but

  1. should retorts be limited to a specific subset of smilies?
  2. if yes, which ones would you want to be able to still use?

Just let them be all emotes. It doesn’t really make a difference

and it allows for a greater range of emotional display

my bad i meant to turn off the filter, its off now. you can use every custom emoticon.

also they were tiny before, wrote a bit of css to make them normal size.
