I believe that's optimal play if you can convince town to follow. A lot of points would be the answer.

current highest point strategy is to lynch towns 2 days in a row and then post "they didnt towntell" and lose the game

I believe towntelling is a meta decision based on the judgments of other players in the game. If you get lynched then it's impossible to have towntold more than the other players in the game.
If you're aware of your towntells and intentionally doing them to be townread as town then they are no longer actual towntells because you're aware and can force them as scum
you're just saying a bunch of words but they really don't mean anything or have any substance to them
This is why character reading is no good any more. We need soul reading
We need an ability to read WITHOUT reading posts
being mafia is likely a function of post length and frequency
If it is we can easily solve for it
But it would be on a player-by-player basis and you would need a dataset
