I like seriously doubt nmagane has done anything that wasnt a total meme
He also wasn't in the game so looks like we now have ammunition to ban benny again
it's obvious that the side channel data is a vital ingredient for a hybridized mafia solver
Actually anon game is a pretty good point
If people are PMing they arent going to do it on their anon account so there is less noise
Plus iirc I was scum and we were using site PMs
The actual data would be running the bot full time and then putting the data into some tool to detect anomalies
- create baseline per player
- when player deviates from baseline that's one flag and then you combine it with data from the post length and sentiment analysis analyzers
However this would cost money to run and would be significantly less accurate than actually playing the game
This is a very "character reading" solution and thus I'm not on board with it
The business need is a bot that looks at one post and knows that you're mafia. Please refer back to the requirements - I think we are bikeshedding
i think it'd be an average player
if it can operate at approximately a matticus level I'd put it into the game

I tried to convince Jeff Atwood to remove the PM exploit and he said it was a feature
you should just lynch whoever says the word "scum" the most and see how it turns out.
Every time someone pushes on me in the future I'm going to respond with "Whoa, strange play by [Insert Player Name], let's see where my lynch goes".
