If we lynch a vanilla town then we have the same lynches-to-winning condition as mafia, but we have them outnumbered. I think it would be an advantage.

you go to 2.2.1 and have to somehow hit the last vt with 2 scum working against you in the vote
so you'd only even consider this on day 3 with 2v2v1 and even there its prob easier and safer to just lynch scum

At any time, the vetoed is a 1 in X and he doesnt know for sure he's vetoed, so you can't read the players to improve your odds
Even in a 1v2v2, it's a lot easier to hunt 2 scum in 5 (who know they are scum and give you multiple days of posts to read them that way) than to try to hit the 1 in 5 who isn't even guaranteed vetoed because mafia may have wifomed onto someone else

And lastly the main point of vetoing someone is that mafia expect that they are going to really want to NK him at some point during the game
Thinking you should try to find that person and day kill him means you are just helping mafia with the person they want to NK
The chance you don't kill any chosen all game after doing that (with 2 mafia working against you to try to lynch those people) is pretty low
I think this "GTO" strategy is nmagane-tier
Just a way of griefing the game by suggesting something ridiculous that doesn't actually work and telling people it's GTO

I think Nyte has a point. Iād have to consider vetoing her as scum because sheād tunnel me like this. I still think I could come out looking better for it and she might be voted out instead, AND not really take blame for it because it is a pattern the last few games

So right now I kind of townread Nyte, but maybe this push is feeling more forced than usual.
I also kind of agree with cross-suspicion between sophie/BA. I could see either being scum, I think because they are both playing softer than Iād expect as town.
Sophie will usually ramp up into an aggressive tone as town while his scum game is more chatty and he asks other people what their reads are instead of using his own brain.
yeah, thatās weird, because i have the exact opposite take, where heās very chatty as town, and only gets upset and implodes when inevitably heās scumread by 2 or 3 people who refuse to listen to him.
