I carried the people in the graveyard. LBJ/Nyte etc - gamethrowers who self-voted and had 0% accurate reads this game. I have carried my friend LBJ to break his 0% winstreak - you guys are very welcome.
I said what I said to preemptively make you feel better but if you’re gonna be like that I take it back.
This game was basically a masterclass on how to play town. First elim the people who don't appear to be playing as town. Then eliminate the scum.
Of course I knew who the scum were for much of the game - but if you do it the other way around (hunting for scum in town-looking players) you end up with a lylo of LBJ-type players, who didn't participate much or attempt to look towny during the game. That lylo is much harder to sort out and you're also relying on the judgment of those LBJ-type players to win, which is how you end up in those 0% winrate situations.

The only times you weren’t tunneling town this game were when it became mechanically confirmed to you who the mafia was. And even then it took like half the day.
So? The people in the GY were also tunneling town (or not playing the game) and self-voted (gamethrowing)
I even told Nyte we'd lynch her read after flipping her and she pointed to you. After tunneling Matty basically all game, who was the easiest TR ever.
And the entire game thread was scumreading LBJ except for the scum team.
Basically, the whole town was on these lynches. Sometimes it's correct play to tunnel town.
The one thing I have to apologize for this game is posting the poll

So yea in Rora's games no polls guys and sorry if that influenced the game in town's favor in some way (if anything it just fueled us to lynch LBJ and Nyte - which was in town's favor so I guess the answer is yes, it did)

Just bad choices around the lylos and Dan got kind of lazy in the end
But you blended in well and played more towny than many of the towns.
I had genuine reasons (some of which I just elaborated on in the blog) but thanks. I did think we played well, particularly Magic. Magic has gotten scary. I think we have a new top tier scum player afoot
The poll created a lot of initial, arbitrary discussion (so it was good for town to me) but all it really did was help my team. People cleared me off of my disregard of it (I really did just vote for the best player -- ian -- who We did choose to Veto chosen from), and it ended up making you guys focus a lot more on Who couldve randomly been drafted Chosen over scum hunting.
so ya, i mean rora does what he wants. But I didn't see any issue with it personally and would've appreciated it if i was town. But i do think if NMA was here and town he would've been whining about it because it really was like trying to engineer who was randomly selected and kinda pointless/distracting to me -- Plato's Allegory of the Cave, if you will.
Atleast to me the poll isn't OGI, town are incentivized to create discussion arbitrarily, and I hadn't seen you using polls as scum in the past, so if i were town i may have cleared you on that basis (just how you were acting in the game, which seems fair too)
The Nyte lynch was so bad
Chosen being Nyte and Alightsoul really helped with Chosen not feeling too strong for scum. Like if matty and you were somehow chosen instead, that would've probably been an awful game for me.
