Yea it is crazy how much work goes into the process. I thought you worked in O&G and already knew all of this.
You should see a video on how power gets produced and reaches residential homes and wholesale energy markets. It's funny how behind these things we use everyday there are these really intense and complicated systems operating every single day with so many components and people involved that most people aren't aware of.
If I was a rich guy I'd want to get involved in being a energy provider, it is really good money but requires millions of dollars to get started so all i can do is be a grunt working under someone instead.
This oil sands stuff is totally alien to me.
You and I are basically experts at it now. We can start our own shop and create a market to exploit the price differences between the heavy crude in Alberta and the Southern US.
Btw did u know that all this Linux gaming stuff is thanks to one guy who really liked nier automata and wanted to play it on Linux
