The new year is a time of reminiscence and reconciliation.

We all have some things we would like to let go of in the new year. Bad vibes floating around, some things we would have rather left unsaid.

This game is about setting all of that right. A place for good vibes only. Somewhere we can be happy with our friends and cheer in the new year together.

To that end, there will be a couple of ground rules:

1. The mafia will not be allowed to lie about being town.
2. If you are town, you may not be mean to anyone you are trying to lynch. If anyone is upset about being lynched, you must take your vote off.

In-game arguments and head-to-head/thunderdome style play are strongly discouraged.

To this end, there will be special roles to keep the game pleasant.

Xx - Sweet Messenger

Once per night, send a special message of appreciation via the host to any other person in the thread describing something you appreciate about him or her. The message may be as long or short as you choose

2x - The Lovers

Share a private chat with each other where you may share personal messages of gratitude.

1x Host Praiser

Once per day, send a message directly to the host with kind words just for him. (If you fail to do so each day, you will die.)

Open to other suggestions for the roles. This is just an idea I am workshopping. If anyone thinks the setup is unbalanced please let me know.

If you want to be funny you can include some of my rules in your setup. Host Praiser role and the rule that mafia is not allowed to lie about being town

No beef. Faking as town in the last game sent me into an argument mode which tore apart the whole forum, not going to do that again.
