I don't feel strongly either way because I don't think a good solution exists. Historically, the final resolution to these sort of disputes have always ended with complete or near eradication in order to achieve peace (American Indians/Latin Americans in US). With death comes peace, but that is not a good or acceptable answer, but when you put 2 male beta fish into the same tank, the resolution won't arrive until 1 leaves the earth. What do you think? How do we achieve peace in the middle east? Puts on peace. Calls on war.
It boils down to nature. The strong survive, the weak die. It's really that simple, there is no 'good' or 'nice' or 'fair' in nature. Look at animals killing each other everyday in Africa to survive. That's what we used to be but we're trying to pretend like we're all the same for being alive.
We didn't achieve peace in the US by annihilating all African Americans or annihilating all secessionists.
The Jews should accept the global multicultural nature of modern society and accept all palestinians inside their walls, give them the right to vote, open their borders to south african migrants, turks, afghan shepherds from the mountains, and so on. Peace is actually very easy - it just involves giving up some control, so it hasn't happened.

I don't see why not. We live in a society with people who chant Death to the USA all the time - I meet them on the street when I walk to work. As far as I can tell, the USA is alive and kicking, and probably doing better for all the free speech going on in its fetid streets

Nature of a 'modern society', sure. Yea, I grew up with a alcoholic dad who would beat me all the time and sometimes knock me out, broke my leg, honestly, yea I could have died but I didn't but growing up in that type of environment does make you more anxious and aware of things.
There's no free speech in America anymore. News papers and news companies have been getting the shit stick for years but Trump has made it super official. Since the Citizen's united case ruling, free speech has died because it now costs money to talk, and the airtime goes to the highest bidder therefore the rich control the media and the narrative and while you're not silenced outright or jailed like you might be in Russia, you are buried and made invisible, and to say that is free speech is laughable. Like, that's equivalent to people in Russia saying you can say whatever you want to say about Putin, but just go inside of a dark closet and say it and you won't get in trouble. Freedom!
