All you're doing by lynching someone day 1 is giving us a 1/7 chance of losing our gunsmith for no benefit.
Ideally to avoid this the host should've had the game start on Night 0 with smiths giving guns.
But I can't expect everyone to be so well versed in mafia game design.
incorrect there is also a 1/7 chance of removing mafia night kill and guaranteeing all guns are given to town. but you've been bad faithing this since the start

Your argument should've been: 2/7 to lynch mafia and only 1/7 to lynch gunsmith.
But my proposition would result in much higher than 2/7+5/7*2/6 the next day with less chance of entering LYLO early.
We mislynch today and the game ends on day 2.
5v2 -> mislynch -> 3v2 -> Mafia gives gun to partner -> partner shoots town start of day -> 2v2 -> game over.

Osiris is ostensibly proven mafia at this point.
But we cannot lynch him since we need to nolynch here.
