The Read Threads and Unread Threads on Dan's light are too close in color.
I can't tell witch threads I have read and which I haven't.

Okay. updated and fixed it for now. It shows 'stream' on mobile and 'Site stream' on desktop but mb ill add https://meta.discourse.org/t/iconified-header-links/86307 later see how it looks with an icon instead.

medialive has an API but i havent looked into that at all. If @roragok gives me access on the AWS dashboard for it I can look into setting that up. sounds like a simple js promise that i can do through the customize part of the admin section
why do you need anything with aws to even do this.
i was asking for some simple like get-access-only so that I can make a get request to whatever the channel ID is and check the channel state

i hate the mail. i wish i could disable it by default and let people opt in, but people complained when i did that.
also im pretty sure u can just add like a red dot or something with js if its active with some simple theme component things
i mean this was going to be my approach but in the common sections for JS i would have the api call to streams/id to check channelState. whats the other nonapi way youre recommending and how would it b better
Can't you just check the stream status code.
