For some reason on mobile my touch screen aim becomes way off, to the point where pressing the reply button is impossible. I have to refresh the page until I get lucky and it recalibrates my aim. It happens almost every time I attempt to reply to a thread. This doesnt happen with any other site, app, or interface on my phone. It doesnt affect anything else either. When it starts, as soon as I change web pages or apps it is gone. Only on namafia.com and only after hitting the reply button before composing.

I am on a galaxy S9+.

apparently a fix is on the way, and it should be soon considering this bug appeared in march according to the second thread linked lol

also made the reply taller for the menu.

if it turns out the buttons still trying to move all fidgety like ill reshrink it to regular size and youll just have to sometimes press the white empty space under it

I don't really know a single thing about designing a website or if what I'm talking about is possible on this particular website, but something that was a little more.. intuitive? or easy? to navigate between sections or even particular threads would be dope.

I think either that wide ass space on either side should be made fuctional in some way or just removed and have everything in the middle take up the whole screen.

that's at least my extremely ignorant opinion as someone who knows nothing about websites

Implementing the same kind of pagination as nadota is nigh impossible but there’s ways to simulate it. If I made a button that goes back 20 posts or fwd twenty posts and put it above the progress block on mobile thatd work too right?

Only problem is I’m getting stretched pretty thin here lol. Wish I had more people interested in developing discourse plug-ins because we could really get all this done and more but right now those page links are pretty low on my prio list personally

Idk it is just a huge pain in the ass to navigate long threads. It didnt occur to me that pages werent a thing on here because there werent long threads, but now I am looking at the mafia game and really dreading it.

VBs not free though. It would be easier to set up a mafia forum and have pagination, but I’m not going to pay for it.

I know lol. It’s just different and they don’t like it. I for one thing infinite scrolls pretty amazing in the context of mafia. Conversation can be extremely disjointing to read with page breaks but flows much better here and with very minimal reply trails too so you don’t have to quote the bubble.
