@SOPHIE so when is the stream sidebar gonna work again? smiley face

very low chance. im lodes busier than before, to the point where I didnt see this till now. It's not as simple as just fixing it, it needs so many updates to the point where I have to completely remake it and learn how to do so again as well. I think twitch also updated their API twice over which is an additional annoyance.

If anyone wants to play around in rails and emberjs and twitch api to build it im happy to help them get completely setup and pair/guide to completion, but I'm not gonna lead the devleopment on it

its okay dawg dont worry about it

This thread of yours?

Once again

Please do not post information that hasn’t been publicly revealed to everyone about other posters without their consent.

We have few rules but this one is required when it griefs other users in a manner that isn’t “sportsmanlike”.

You are free to treat the forum as a game as many users already seem to do, but don’t involve ogi if that’s the case. Being unfriendly is a trait we all share, but it shouldnt extend to things that aren’t here. We can do better.

One amendment, mentioning something that might actually be new to users somehow.

When an old or current poster dies, it is unacceptable to use it as an opportunity to take a jab at them, the community, grieving users or other groups. We get that you think that acting sociopathic is cool, but it’s like really disrespectful to the people that made this place what it is. If you appreciate this place (even if you’re unaware of it) you have to appreciate them.

I had given this a lot of thought since kittens passed, since Osiris passed, and now with dees passing. We didn’t show enough respect or remembrance to these people that had a big impact on us. They atleast deserved more praise as we sent them off than we ultimately gave them.

Like I didn’t know Dee, but I don’t like anyone immediately calling Ironstove a narcissist for making a thread dedicated to a recently deceased friend of the forum — or other snide actions that suggest you’re an emotionally stunted twerp when it comes to death. You can be that, but do it somewhere else. We should always focus on attempting to send our friends off in a more meaningful way over posting stupid embarrassing things like that.

Punishment will be swift if this rule is broken and i am around. If not, I hope others can help command respect for fallen friends.
