Actually no it doesn't seem too bad, I did have to compress them again to fit on the forum, but the biggest problem with it is that you can't click to zoom (?). Bad ux design, sad! If you right click and press "open imagine in new tab" however, you can view them as they're meant to be. I wouldn't really consider viewing them on the forum itself they're just squeezed to such a small size you miss half of the details.

I honestly know next to nothing about gear, I've never been able to afford amps so I'm clueless about them. xD
But psyched to hear you're getting into bass, consider picking up Rocksmith when it goes on sale and you can use your PC as an amp!
Most amps are very forgiving for bass guitars.
Just get one that you can turn up to 11.
